Wow! This is a great Lincoln Rhyme novel by Jeffery Deaver. I haven’t read one for a while, this is from 2019.
The novel starts out with a killer, named the Promiser killing 3 people in the Diamond district. The Promisor goes looking for witnesses, anyone who could identify him.
Then a series of earthquakes happen in Brooklyn and then Rhymes is asked to help the defense in a Cartel murder trial.
Lincoln, Amanda and his team get down to tracking the Promisor and come upon the construction site. In the meantime Lincoln keeps his involvement in the trial secret from his team.
This story has so many twists and turns and endings that it keeps you guessing until the very end. You have got to read this fast moving, attention grabbing thriller. Deaver is a great story teller.
I rate this book an A+. You won’t stop reading!
