This is a series I am currently experiencing on my faith journey! Its purpose is to strengthen your belief in the Eucharist, that Jesus is present in the Eucharist, that it is his body and blood there for us, to save us. He is always with us !
Today we were asked to read John, Chapter 6. The chapter reveals the Multiplication of Loaves, Walking on Water, the Bread of Life Discourse and the Words of Eternal Life.
This chapter says it all. It sums up our faith and Jesus’s mission, the mission of his church.
Verse 51: I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.
Verses 67-69: Jesus said to the Twelve, ” Do you want to leave?” Simon Peter answered him,” Master to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.”
