I joined a league in Fantasy Baseball on ESPN and today we had our draft. It was a snake draft and I had chosen the auto pick option. That means when my turn game to pick a player, the computer made the pick of the best player available and consider bread ed my position needs.
My first pick was Freddie Freeman of the. LA Dodgers. Freeman is one of the best first basemen in the league and a great hitter! He’s projected to hit . 303 with 112 hits. 26 homers and 93 rbi’s. If he does that I’ll be happy! Last year he hit .325 with 100 rbi’s, 21 homers with 13 stolen bases.
My next 4 picks were:
- Manny Machado 3 b of San Diego Padres
- Dylan Cease SP of Chicago White Sox
- Matt Olson 1b of Atlanta Braves
- Bobby Witt SS of Kansas City Royals.
I think I have a good team. I may need to acquire some pitchers to make it through the season. I usually use 10 starting pitchers so I’ll need 3 more. Last year I finished the regular season in first place but didn’t do so well in the playoffs ending in third place for the year!
