Anxious People by Fredrik Backman – A book review

The latest novel by the Swedish author is a story about people, how they live, how they interact with others and their hopes and expectations.

Backman takes a story which on the surface may be about a bank robbery and weaves a great tale about the characters and how they interacted and how they were all a part of the story and of each others lives.

Lots of twists and turns, when you read the story you aren’t sure how it’s going to end! The dialogue is really funny, I was really laughing out loud.

I really liked this book as I did the two other books I read by Backman. Beartown, about small town hockey, an HBO series, and the best one, A Man called Ove! It was about a retired man living out his life. That book was hilarious and sad at the same time.

I rate this book an A. Read any Backman book you can find, you’ll love it!

Good to get back to writing blogs again!
